Kotiyagala Fine Cut Ceylon

BeTeas is proud to acquire this fine Ceylon tea directly from the tea estate.  Kotiyagala tea estate resides in the valley of Nuwara Eliya's tea region of Sri Lanka. Situated in Bogawantalawa, the area is referred to as the "Golden Valley of Ceylon" due to the high-quality teas grown here.
This fine cut is created from orthodox leaf that is rolled, rotorvane cut, and fired. The finer cut lends more surface area for extraction and is an excellent choice for the black tea lover who enjoys a bolder, full-bodied cup. Due to the freshness of this selection, it delivers a fresh fired taste that is surprisingly smooth with rich fruity notes.
