Mineral Rock Wuyi Mountain Oolong - SVC

Mineral Rock oolong comes from Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province, China. This style of tea is known as “Yan Cha” or “Cliff/ Rock Tea”, and owes its name to the natural haven these plants thrive in. Nestled in and around the cliffs of a nature preserve, rock oolong tea plants enjoy a very unique terrior consisting of mineral rich soil, limestone cliffs, bamboo forests.
This traditional long oxidized Wuyi oolong exhibits the classic dark curly tea leaves and has a smooth, rich body with a roasted aroma and sweet finish. Rich mineral character, co-mingled with a hint of fruity fragrance, and a final finish of toasted bread.
